Portfolio-company AI improvement and delivery

We work with investment teams and portfolio-company leaders to turn an AI opportunity into a scoped piece of operational delivery. We assess the workflow, build the systems, and help staff put the change to work.

We work with teams across the UK, Europe, and Australia.

When to bring us in

  • A value-creation plan includes AI but the company needs a delivery owner.
  • Several portfolio companies have similar problems but different systems and constraints.
  • You need a measured first deployment before committing to a wider programme.

Who does the work

A partner coordinates with the investment team and a named company sponsor. Engineering and change support work with local operators; the company owns its approvals and production systems.

What the engagement delivers

01

An opportunity assessment

We connect the investment thesis with operating workflows, current performance, data access, and the people accountable for results.

02

A company-owned delivery plan

We agree the first use case with company leadership, including scope, budget, acceptance measures, and staff involvement.

03

Implementation and adoption

We build and test the workflow, train users, assign support, and review actual use and performance.

04

A basis for the next decision

We report what changed against the baseline, what remains uncertain, and which components another company could reuse.

Timing and budget

Begin with one company's assessment and a bounded first workflow. Wider deployment follows a review of the evidence, local access, and each company's capacity to adopt the change.

What to bring to the first call

Bring the value-creation priorities, the company sponsor, known systems, and the timetable. Keep company information separate and agree permissions before sharing materials.

We don't assume a result transfers across the portfolio. Each company needs its own baseline, access agreement, business owner, and acceptance decision.

Discuss the work with a partner.

The introductory call is free. We'll discuss the problem, the decision you need to make, and whether an engagement fits.
